At 120k, many expensive things can need replacement and that's about the time parts need replacement, if not already done. You could get a "great" deal at $5k, then spend another $5k fixing it. I'm not trying to discourage, just warn of possible pitfalls. There's nothing wrong with a car having 120k, just know what you're getting and what you might need to do after you get it. These cars are expensive to run. The market prices are down right now, so for me, spending another $3-5k for a Z with lower mileage would be a good decision. If you like working on cars, don't have much money right now, but will have money to put in the car as you go along, your decision might be different. Whatever you do, get an independent opinion. You used the word "mint" which says that you are already enamored with the car.
